Code of Ethics for Suppliers

The Supplier Code of Conduct sets forth the basic rules of ethics, responsibility, and conduct that TRAD Czech requires of all its suppliers when providing products and services.

Suppliers are required to adhere to these principles not only in their own operations but also throughout the entire supply chain, and to ensure that their subcontractors and business partners comply with them as well.

We expect ongoing monitoring of compliance with the Code, open cooperation, and the ability to demonstrate compliance with the requirements. TRAD Czech reserves the right to request documentation, conduct inspections or audits, and require corrective actions.

Compliance with the Code is a key criterion for selecting and evaluating suppliers. Any violation may result in the restriction or termination of our business relationship, or in a report to the relevant authorities.

The Code is regularly reviewed and updated, and suppliers are notified of significant changes in a timely manner.

Child labor and young workers

Suppliers are required to strictly prohibit the use of child labor in all areas of their operations, including activities carried out by subcontractors or affiliated companies. For the purposes of this Supplier Code of Conduct, child labor is defined in accordance with International Labor Organization (ILO) standards as any work that is harmful to children from a mental, physical, social, or moral standpoint, or work that in any way interferes with a child’s compulsory schooling or educational development.
Suppliers are required to implement effective age verification procedures to ensure compliance and must take immediate corrective action if they discover any instance of child labor. Suppliers shall further ensure that no work practices interfere with children’s right to education or violate applicable local or international laws regarding the minimum age for employment.

Excessive working hours are prohibited, and all overtime must be voluntary, properly compensated, and managed in accordance with legal limits.

Compensation must always meet or exceed legal standards, be provided on time, and be clearly documented for employees in a transparent and understandable manner.

Suppliers are required to conduct due diligence to identify, prevent, and mitigate the risks of modern slavery and to take immediate corrective action if any such practices are identified.

Suppliers must establish accessible and confidential reporting channels that allow employees to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.
All reported incidents must be investigated promptly, fairly, and thoroughly, and appropriate disciplinary measures must be taken in the event of a violation.
